Savanna Premium Cider is visiting a new bar with two new dry characters in its new quirky TV commercial.
Savanna marketing manager in Southern Africa, Liezl Dippenaar says the premium cider’s latest quirky TV commercial continues to do what Savanna does best: finding dry humour in unexpected moments, clever wordplay and poking fun at stereotypes.
The commercial is the latest collaboration by executive creative director Mike Barnwell, from Savanna’s ad agency Draftfcb and director Greg Gray of Velocity Productions.
Barnwell explains the creative direction of the commercial: “While Savanna is still made and tastes exactly the same way, in this execution, it has a completely different flavour. For the first time, Savanna is venturing out of its usual environment and is mingling with a whole new crowd. Not to worry though, it’s still Savanna to its apple-core, it just has a different twist.”
The commercial will be on television screens until summer.
