A celebration of creative flair and whisky making artistry, these Limited Edition expressions are presented with iconic design inspired by The Dalmore’s Highland home, featuring the 12-pointed Royal Stag, a signifier of the exceptional whisky for which The Dalmore is renowned.
The Dalmore Portfolio Series presents three Limited Edition Single Malt Whiskies, which made their worldwide debut, exclusively with global travel experience player Avolta. The series launched at their World Duty Free stores at Heathrow throughout the month of September, ahead of wider roll out across travel retail at other international hub airports from October. The trio of bottlings is a toast to creative talent, and celebrates a young artist identified for their artistic potential. In this first year, Fraser Gray of Edinburgh, Scotland, has created a striking interpretation of The Dalmore Distillery, home to renowned whisky makers.
The Dalmore Portfolio Series is the latest initiative under the industry-leading creative partnership between The Dalmore and iconic design institution V&A Dundee. The four-year programme first featured The Dalmore Luminary Series. The most recent initiative emerging from the partnership was a collaboration between The Dalmore’s Master Whisky Makers – Gregg Glass and Richard Paterson OBE – with internationally renowned architect Melodie Leung who together created a pair of Limited Edition whiskies accompanied by a stunning architectural presentation sculpture. Their creation was presented at Sotheby’s London for auction, with the proceeds donated to V&A Dundee.
For The Portfolio Series V&A Dundee paired The Dalmore with artists, the first of which is Fraser Gray, who grew up in the local area. The Portfolio Series continues in future years, shining a light on contemporary art and design talent through creative works evoking what makes The Dalmore truly special.
Fraser Gray’s Portfolio Series will also be available to purchase in Scotland, exclusively at V&A Dundee.
