Bristows has worked with Aesop to bring the intriguing flavour variants of its Oh Fudge! brand to life through quirky, audacious packaging.
In addition to design, the packaging the agency also came up with the brand name and its strapline, ‘A match made in Devon’, along with witty back-of-pack stories for each flavour.
To match the daring flavour combinations Aesop took a bold design approach. Dan Calderwood, design director, Aesop, explained: “The illustrations are a tongue-in-cheek representation of each flavour – unexpected and surprising, creating an ‘Oh Fudge!’ moment.”
The fudge brand has already generated interest from niche and mainstream retailers including Hugh Fearnly-Whittingstall’s River Cottage deli.
