Coors Light is giving consumers across the USA a chance to win an unforgettable soccer viewing experience with the Coors Light SUPERFANATICOS promotion. This summer, Coors Light will reward two legal-drinking-age super football fans with a trip for two to watch the final game of the summer’s biggest tournament in their favorite team’s home country. The SUPERFANATICOS promotion kicked off May 13 and runs through June 11, 2014.
“We are very excited to bring this promotion to our super fans. We know our Coors Light consumers love the game, so this year we wanted to give them a football viewing experience that is unlike any other. Two lucky fans will get to watch the final with all the other super fans in that country. It’s an experience our winners will never forget.” said Sonia Urintsev, brand manager for Coors Light Hispanic marketing.
Fans can visit www.CLsuperfanaticos.com to sign up and choose their favorite country. Fans will be asked to upload a picture demonstrating what makes them the ultimate fan. The winning entries will be judged in terms of creativity, originality and demonstration of their super fan status. The winners will be chosen June 19 by a panel of judges. Around July 11, right before the final game, the winners will be flown to their favorite team’s home country to witness the match.
“This promotion is distinctive because we are not sending fans to just any country—we are sending them to the actual country of their favorite team. So if a fan chooses Portugal as his team when he signs up for the SUPERFANATICOS promotion, and Portugal makes it to the final, Coors Light could send that fan to Lisboa for an unforgettable soccer experience. Super fans also will have the chance to win a refreshing Coors Light summer football pack, which includes a Coors Light football ball, backpack, a football jersey, a Coors Light football-shaped grill and a $50 gift card.
