MatPrat Recycles Old Ads to Raise Awareness of Food Waste in Norway

MatPrat is the largest recipe-portal in Norway. in 2016 they wanted to show how to throw away less food by reusing ingredients.

With this in mind, they decided to create an ad made completely out of old Norwegian commercials to illustrate the concept. To do this, directors Matias & Mathias, searched through over 6000 old commercials.

The campaign by Anorak and Bacon, aims to raise awareness of food waste in Norway as well as in other parts of the world, and to show how easy it is to “reuse” the food with help from recipes here.
