The Campaign That Waited — a Ramadan insight that changed Nestlé’s advertising

During Ramadan, people practise restraint. Food advertising keeps serving temptation.

For Nestlé, we saw an opportunity in that tension. If our audience could wait until sunset, our campaign could too.

We built **The Campaign That Waited** around the anticipation of food. During fasting hours, we showed glasses before the pour, desserts beneath their covers and recipes without the final reveal. Every execution held something back. “Ready. But not yet served.”

At iftar, we revealed everything we had withheld. The glasses filled, the covers came off and the finished dishes appeared. “Ready to be served.”

We made the wait itself part of the story. A covered dish carried the promise of what was to come; sunset gave us the moment to fulfil it. Across the campaign, “For the sweetness that comes after” connected the restraint of the day with the enjoyment that followed.

By choosing when to reveal the food, we gave Nestlé a way to respect the fast through the advertising itself.

We achieved **3.16M reach, 6.43M impressions and 316K+ engagements.**
