Aldi Spoofs Cadbury ‘Gorilla’ Ad For Easter Campaign

After spoofing John Lewis’ ‘Man On The Moon’ for Christmas 2015, Aldi is again whipping up a storm with this nod to one of Britain’s most iconic commercials ever.

Created by McCann Manchester and directed by Another Film Company’s Mark Denton, the spot opens on a gorilla sat in a purple room at a set of drums, erring memories of Fallon London’s instantly recognisable rendition of Phil Collins’ ‘In The Air Tonight’ in ‘Gorilla’ for Cadbury.

Aldi’s Gorilla is a little less schooled in the art of drumming, but does make up for it with a knack for chocolatey bargain hunting.
