The TV spot, launching nationally in the US on March 27th, showcases these world-class athletes, giving an up-close look at how their preparations for the Summer Olympics have been ‘Built With Chocolate Milk.’ Taking you through the inner thoughts of a swimmer, the spot gives the consumer an idea of what it takes to train for the world class stage.
When training for the Olympics, athletes take nutrition and recovery seriously and know that the long journey requires a serious recovery beverage that works as hard as they do. This is the second time that Chocolate Milk has partnered with USA Swimming as the ‘official recovery beverage’ of USA Swimming.
Looking to reach adult exercisers (18 – 49, with a halo effect to teen athletes 15 – 17), the campaign will educate men and women on Chocolate Milk’s natural protein and how it can help push you and your body to the next level. The creative will be live this summer – while Team USA competes – on networks such as ESPN, NBC Sports and Fox Sports. Additional elements of the campaign rolling out include print, digital, social and athlete media appearances.
