Recognizing that the narrow neck and small opening of beer bottles limited the outflow of the drink within, the agency gave the bottles a makeover by turning them upside down.
With the bottle opening now located at what used to be the base, consumers would no longer have to grapple with the issue of sluggish outflow of beer.
The new design though poses some practical questions, such as, how on earth do you put your beer bottle down?
It’s certainly not going to balance on such a narrow base. Perhaps that’s part of the plan, to keep the beer in your hand at all times.
