Marks & Spencer have launched the latest instalment of their long-standing ‘Adventures in Food’ campaign entitled ‘Adventures in Fiesta’ – a range entirely inspired by the Americas. This curation of the cuisine of a specific cultural region is an unprecedented move from the luxury food retailers who have ‘explored Peruvian markets, got our hands dirty at the fire pit restaurants of Texas and delved into Cajun cuisine in New Orleans’.
According to product developer Caroline Crumby: “We wanted these dishes to reflect the easy, relaxed recipes that we discovered on our travels. Consider them adventures for your taste buds to enjoy.”
The TV advert sticks to the fine-tuned ‘Adventures in Food’ formula created by RKCR/Y&R, and specifically the creative duo Pip Bishop and Chris Hodgkiss, as vibrant, high-definition shots of luxury ingredients are accompanied by the sound of the familiar ‘Rather Be’ by Clean Bandit, albeit with a few added whistles and bass drums to reinforce the desired Americas vibe.
‘Adventures in Fiesta’ falls under the wider ‘Spirit of Summer’ campaign which M&S recently launched on the 27th of April.
