Mystery has been the design agency for “foodpreneur” and blogger Olivia Wollenberg since 2014, not long after she started her Livia’s Kitchen brand.
Having been diagnosed with food intolerances, Olivia combined her passion for food, her desire to create a healthier, intolerance-free life for herself and an interest in business to start her own company.
Winning a fiercely contested competition for a business grant as part of an intensive business course at UCL, Olivia put all her energy into starting Livia’s Kitchen and hasn’t looked back.
Olivia first approached Mystery to redesign the packaging for her “Livia’s Kitchen Crumble” range of healthy crumbles that put a nutritional twist on traditional desserts. Her Kitchen Crumble range was her first retail product, already on sale in Selfridges and in stores across London.

While Livia’s Kitchen Crumble was doing well in sales, Olivia felt the packaging needed to stand out more and have a stronger identity. Mystery re-designed the “Crumbles” packaging to capture her own personality.
“To reflect her bright, smart and wonderfully eccentric character, we took the existing logo and adapted it slightly to flow more and appear more personal, representing her real signature,” said Mystery on their website.
“We created the Livia’s Kitchen Apron that’s now synonymous with her brand and can be used across all media and on all future products to help keep brand consistency.”
The new packaging, featuring bright colours, sharp graphics and an upmarket feel is much more in tune with a younger demographic.
Packaging design for Raw Millionaire Bites
Raw Millionaire Bites are a nutritional twist on the classic, decadent British millionaire shortbread. All gluten, dairy and refined sugar free, with no additives or preservatives. As a follow on product to Livia’s Kitchen Crumble, Raw Millionaire Bites’ packaging needed to be instantly and easily recognizable as the same brand.
“Traditionally “free from” or natural products are packaged in earthy, natural tones. However, we wanted to represent Olivia’s young, extrovert personality. This was achieved by using clean lines, bright, contemporary colours; our apron motif for consistency and easy recognition; and photos of the Bites themselves to give a young, fun look to the tubs.”
Olivia’s aims for Millionaire Raw Bites to revolutionise snack time with her deliciously healthy alternative Bites being stocked in every supermarket across the land, so the packaging has been designed to stand out on shelf in mainstream supermarkets and busy food stores, as well as look great on your desk, in your kitchen or in your bag.
Raw Millionaire Bites sold out in Selfridges within 12 hours of going on sale, forcing Olivia’s team to go into overdrive to produce enough product to satisfy her customers’ insatiable demands! They have continued to be a huge success.
