Edinburgh Gin 
has launched ready-to-drink (RTD) formats in slimline cans (250ml). The range includes classic Edinburgh Gin pre-mixed with premium tonic water (6% ABV) and the best-selling Rhubarb & Ginger Gin Liqueur mixed with a fine ginger ale (5% ABV).
This is a significant extension to the Edinburgh Gin range and is in response to consumer demand for premium RTDs – a category that grew by 10% last year. The new ready-to-serve cans are designed to provide a refreshing and convenient way for consumers to enjoy Edinburgh Gin either at home or in out-of-home settings, including picnics, festivals, barbecues and more.
The Edinburgh Gin and Tonic pre-mixed drink features the award-winning London Dry gin which balances softness with bright citrus, served with a crisp tonic water and a hint of zesty Seville orange. While the Rhubarb & Ginger Liqueur, the UK’s second biggest premium gin product by value, is a sweet fruity liqueur balanced by a delicate warmth and spicy finish mixed perfectly with fiery aromatic ginger ale.
Edinburgh Gin’s UK Managing Director, Neil Boyd, said: “Given the size and growth of the RTD market, we were keen to offer our consumers a premium ready-to-serve range that they can enjoy whether at home or any outdoor occasion. The range is initially available at Tesco. The Rhubarb & Ginger will be available UK-wide while the G&T is available in all Tesco’s Scottish stores.
