HP Sauce is set to ramp up its Movember campaign on social media from tomorrow, 1 November, with the aim of encouraging people to raise money through weekly challenges.
The campaign, created by We Are Social, will see HP Sauce introduce a different task for its fans using a bespoke Facebook app, the HP Sauce Movember Challenge.
Each week, HP Sauce and Movember will choose the best moustache-based upload, and the winner will receive a £50 top up to their Movember fundraising account. There are also 500 ‘kick start’ five-pound top ups that will be given away throughout the month to those signing up to the app.
“Movember is a charity that we’re extremely passionate about, so we always encourage our community to get involved with the initiative,” Shane Shortman, senior brand manager from HP Sauce, said. “People already enjoy sharing Movember photos and anecdotes on social media, and we’re giving them the platform to do this more easily, whilst rewarding them for their efforts. ”
James Lubbock, account director at We Are Social, added: “There’s always a lot of buzz around Movember on social media, so Facebook is the perfect place for HP Sauce to support the cause. We’re looking forward to seeing some impressive moustaches over the next few weeks.”
The HP Sauce Movember Challenge on Facebook will run alongside HP Sauce’s above-the-line Movember campaign, which includes releasing 2.5 million branded Movember HP Sauce bottles, as well as activity at universities.
