Magners have targeted the world of smartphones, which seem to come out with a new model every couple of months, in their new ad by Fold7.
The cheeky print ad continues the brand’s “Hold true” positioning that re-launched the product in June, 2016.
The work features a bottle of Magners cider, complete with its rip-top, which was added to the packaging in May to remove the need for a bottle opener. The tagline reads: “an apple product that’s never needed an update”.
The spot was timed to coincide with the recent launch of the iPhone 7.
