Captain Morgan, one of UK’s premier golden rum based spirit drink from Diageo, is launching a brand new TV, print and digital ad campaign worth £1.8m, as part of a significant, global investment into the brand.
The TV creative will air on 10 September 2013 – during the England vs Ukraine football match on ITV1 – and will run intermittently for a year-long media plan, encouraging consumers to ‘Live Like the Captain.’
The cinematic style ad captures the rich history of the brand and the personality of the charismatic, fabled buccaneer with whom the brand shares its name, Sir Henry Morgan.
The ‘Live Like The Captain’ campaign showcases the epic journeys, legendary adventures and charisma of Sir Henry Morgan to a contemporary audience and brings to life the legendary figure behind the brand.
